How to Test Your LVP Samples to Ensure You Get the Perfect Flooring
1. The Lighting Gauntlet
The bright 3:00 PM Florida sun hitting your floor through a sliding glass door looks very different than the warm LED lamps you turn on at night.
Move the Sample: Place it near your largest window, then move it to a windowless hallway or bathroom.
Check the Undertones: Notice if the "driftwood" gray starts to look purple or if the "honey" oak looks orange under your specific lighting.
2. The Durability "Stress Test"
Since LVF is famous for its toughness, put it to the test!
The Scratch Test: Take a set of car keys or an old fork and try to scuff the surface. High-quality LVF with a 20-mil wear layer (like the brands we stock) should remain unscathed.
